Until further notice:  For RFID purchases, please mail or hand-deliver a check for $25 per tag to Sentry Management. Once they've received payment, someone will be in touch with you about delivering the RFID stickers. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition this process to Sentry Management.

To establish a water/sewer account, have water turned on, or to terminate service, please contact the Effingham Finance Department at 912-754-8012.

If you have new construction or are not signed up for Sanitation and need information on where to go to sign up and pay for sanitation services, please call 754-4668, extension 2, or fill out and email the Sanitation Trash Cart Request form. 

Trash (beige cart with green lid) is picked up once every week (Friday).  Recycle (beige cart with yellow lid) is picked up every other week.  You can recycle paper, plastics #1 and #2, aluminum beverage cans, and small pieces of cardboard. All containers, bottles, cans, etc. should be clean before you place them in your recycling cart.

TO ALL RESIDENTS – in order to ensure public safety, please be sure to remove your trash carts from the curb after pickup no later than the next day following the scheduled collection day ( as per the Code of Effingham County Article III, Section 66-104)

**For your pickup schedule, to request a replacement cart if yours is damaged, or to report a missed pickup, please call 964-2000.
